In 2002 Mike and his wife Carol joined a church planting team and moved their family from the U.S.A. to Glasgow. Their three children are young adults now and have remained in the UK. Mike & Carol have made Glasgow their home, and Mike joined SU Scotland as the Chief Operating Officer in August 2023. With a varied background including the corporate sector (Citibank), running his own business, and working with university students, Mike completed his MBA in 2023. While he brings these experiences and skills to SU Scotland, he also has a deep appreciation for communicating God's Word through the local church. He and Carol live in the East End of Glasgow and continue to support a church plant called Upper Room Church which is ministering to Persian speaking asylum seekers and refugees. He enjoys walking, cooking and would love to improve his Persian language skills!
