Hi, I’ve been involved with SU for approaching 40 years, mainly as a volunteer, having come to know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord through the witness of an SU Group while at secondary school. I went on to serve as a volunteer at the summer camps run from Grampian then shifted to leading some primary weekends.
A graduate practitioner in people management – often called Human Resources - I had the privilege to work very PT with SU for over 10 years supporting the Senior Leadership Team maintain effective work relations in keeping with God’s word, and advising on employment law/best practice. I am now supporting on an “as & when required” consultancy basis as the HR mantle has past to the very able Rachel Causey, SU’s current HR Partner.
Prayer is key to our ministry, and I’ve been involved in a monthly SU Scotland prayer group in Aberdeen since 1983 so if you’re in the area the 1st Monday of a month, you’d be so welcome to join us - just let me know!
