An online course leading to a certificate in Elementary Food Hygiene for all our Chief Cooks and recommended too, for our Assistant Cooks. When you decide you are ready to take the course please fill in the form below and the Volunteers Department will issue you with a code. You will then have 30 days to complete the course. Following the course you will be issued with a certificate from the training company and a Food Hygiene Handbook issued by The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland.
The course is free for SU Volunteers, but a donation can be made to the approximate cost of the course of £15.
