Strictly Deeper

Strictly Deeper saw 80 folks coming to pray together at the Inchyra Grange Hotel on Sunday 2nd October. The presence of God was felt in the room as young folk came together from as far apart as Bridge of Weir, Edinburgh, Dundee and places in between.
It was a youth-led prayer event. The 17-year-old hosts, Alasdair and Adiaha, led us through the programme, with worship led by Kyle and the young folk in the youth worship band. Graham Kinloch of Cowdenbeath Baptist brought 3 simple teaching points from Ephesians 3:
• Our prayers should centre on God.
• We should be honest before God.
• We should be open to be changed by God.
Individuals as well as youth groups came along, and it was great to hear different folks take part in an 'open mic' section, sharing about a ministry they were passionate about, and praying for others as they shared. At the end there was time of response, and several young folk came forward to testify how God had spoken to them during the afternoon.
Strictly Deeperis organised by SU Scotland and Firestarters UK in partnership with local youth workers, Lydia Fellowship and Pray for Scotland.

Strictly Deeper is a Pray for Schools Scotland event. For prayer resources, information and to register prayer for your local school, visit our Pray for Schools Scotland page.
