Wheel Trust

The Wheel Trust has been working in schools and churches in the West End of Glasgow since 2006. We aim to encourage young people to consider big issues and the relevance of the Christian faith, and to support their mental, social, physical, spiritual and intellectual development.

The Trust is run by Trustees and a Management committee. These volunteers come from West End churches, some of which also support our work financially alongside individual donors and charitable trusts.

We currently employ two youth workers who work alongside our volunteers to run events and support existing projects and a part-time administrator who supports the team.

The Wheel Trust is a member of SU Scotland's Associate Trusts Network.

Our ambition is:

• to build good relationships with the school community;
• to train and equip volunteers;
• to participate appropriately in the school curriculum;
• to run informal school groups and gatherings;
• to lead residential events that strengthen relationships;
• and to support churches as they disciple young people
