THANK YOU FOR READING ABOUT MY GAP YEAR.

I am excited about the year ahead of me. I chose to do a Gap Year with Scripture Union Scotland because it has already played such a big part in my life so far. I’ve been coming to SU events for almost my entire life and the Gap Year felt like a good next step. I am excited to see behind the scenes and be involved with leading some of the events that I have loved going to as a young person. Helping others to get as much out of them as I did.

Throughout the year, I hope to grow in my faith as I trust God in this new way. I also hope to grow in confidence, particularly in sharing my faith with others.

In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, listening to music, watching movies and going to Christian events.

I have opted for the gap:digital placement where I will be placed within the Creative Team. This placement will involve activities like: helping to build online communities and attending as a leader, gaming as part of clubs, missions and camps, content creation, and wider SU activities such as Equip, Spotlight, or a weekly SU group, as well as, training and an international mission trip in the summer.
