Equip Online - FAQs
FAQs
All our Equip events follow the same core format:
- A short talk from a speaker on a subject
- Breakout to round-table discussion groups, usually a youth group stays together for this
- All together again for a Q&A panel, including the speaker, and other youth workers
Our plan for Equip Online is to live stream the speaker and Q&A panel, which allows youth groups connecting online to submit questions to the panel just like they are there in person. During the discussion time, we will put up the same questions being discussed locally, for you to bring up with your young people.
Register your group, and plan to gather your young people together on the night, with some snacks.
You will need access to the internet, and the ability to connect to a Zoom conference call, and show it on a laptop with good sound output, or a TV.
We believe the Bible has a lot to say about some of the hardest topics Scotland's young people are dealing with today. Our local Equip events are very successful and we want to give access to the same topics to everyone who wants it across the country.
Our preference is that groups within travel distance to the local Equip events should attend in person. Equip Online's focus is expanding accessibility to the rest of the country. If you have any questions please check with your local regional worker.
There are no plans to record Equip events at this time.
