New Film Series WAY, TRUTH, LIFE Enables Young People to Lead the Way with Faith
We are excited to share our new partnership resource, Shine Films: Way, Truth, Life. Shine Films, with its team of representatives from youth organisations across the UK and Ireland, creates high-quality, evangelistic films that make faith conversations possible.
The new series invites young people to consider the personal question: “You've heard of Jesus, but do you actually know who he is - and what that might mean for you?” Presented by young people themselves, the series invites teenagers to explore that question in a relatable way. Designed to be used in youth groups, schools, churches or one-to-one settings, the series is freely accessible with supporting resources available on the Shine Films Website.
The films work because the young presenters are speaking as themselves, sharing real questions and stories. For youth workers and teachers, that makes the films a natural conversation-starter within their groups.
Jenny Hamill, SU Scotland’s Creative Director said:
"Young people often struggle knowing where to start when it comes to talking about Jesus with their peers. Having a resource presented by young people, exploring who Jesus is, and opening meaningful conversations makes that first step so much easier. We're delighted to be bringing this new series into youth settings across the UK and Ireland this autumn.”
Rose, one of the SHINE Films Presenters, said:
“Presenting on Shine Films has been such a privilege and a joy. I have loved getting to use the skills God has given me in a professional way, for sharing the Gospel with my generation. I pray that this series reaches the hearts of all those wondering, distant or shut off from faith, bringing a new lease of life to their view of Jesus and deep, honest conversations among all who watch.”
