The vision of SU Scotland is to see every child and young person in Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus.

The purpose of SU Scotland Local Ministry Hubs is to help fulfil this vision, by facilitating local Christians to serve their schools and communities, in partnership with local churches and other Christian organisations.

There are approximately 360 high school clusters in Scotland. SU Scotland is looking to have a “hub” at the heart of each of these high school clusters. These Local Ministry Hubs will offer local Christians an opportunity to come together to pray for and serve their schools and communities with meaningful Christian contact, allowing children and young people to explore the Bible and respond to the significance of Jesus.

To this end, we would love to partner with Hub Hosts, one for every high school cluster.

What is the role of a Hub Host?

A Hub Host has a heart for the children and young people in their local community.

A Hub Host gathers others a few times a year to pray for the local high school cluster and explore ways to serve.

A Hub Host hosts facilitates discussions and connections, together identifying opportunities to serve schools as well as missional opportunities in the local communities.

A Hub Host is the key link between the local Regional Worker and the Hub, as well as among all Hub participants.

A Hub Host keeps the Hub informed of updates from the ground along with opportunities to serve.
