- Location: Hybrid: Nearest SU Office*/Home *Head office is located in Bridgeton, Glasgow and this is where most internal contacts for this role will be based.
- Salary: £28,988 - £31,210 per annum, dependent upon experience, plus generous employer pension contributions and other benefits

WHO WE ARE
Scripture Union Scotland is a national charity, with around 140 staff and over 2,500 volunteers. Our vision is to see every child and young person of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus.
PURPOSE
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Individual Giving Lead will be responsible for developing and delivering supporter acquisition, retention and stewardship campaigns with a focus on growing income, reach and engagement across a range of Individual Giving fundraising campaigns. This role coordinates our fundraising appeals, legacy fundraising, regular giving programme, donor acquisition and coaching the wider staff team in MPD (Ministry Partner Development).
- In conjunction with the Head of Fundraising, continue to develop the Individual Giving Strategy with a focus on building the next generation of supporters
- Coordinate SU Scotland's existing and new fundraising appeals
- Provide ongoing donor care and stewardship
- Manage the improvement and implementation of processes including thanking, data, income coding, and donor record maintenance on SU Scotland's CRM.
- Facilitate post-campaign reviews, collating internal and external stakeholder feedback to inform improvements for future campaigns.
- Analyse supporter insights to help inform and optimise audience targeting and identify improvements for supporter engagement.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful applicant will have excellent project management skills with an ability to create innovative and engaging fundraising appeals. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are also key with the ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
For this post, it is important that you are committed to SU Scotland’s ethos, working principles and vision and can demonstrate this through your commitment and motivation. It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
