- Location: Hybrid: SU Scotland’s Glasgow Office/Home
- Contract: Part time/22.5 hours per week
- Salary: £14,335 per annum + generous pension scheme , Employee Assistance Programme and other benefits

WHO WE ARE
Scripture Union Scotland is a national charity, with around 125 staff and over 2,200 volunteers. Our vision is to see every child and young person of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus.
We are seeking to recruit a Communications Assistant to join our Creative Team.
PURPOSE
Working with the Communications Manager to meet the creative and administrative demands for print and digital marketing communications and resources for Scripture Union Scotland.
- Contribute to SU Scotland's corporate website
- Facilitate coordination of exhibition stands - including attending events and / or gathering items required for the stand and assisting other colleagues
- Assist with basic design tasks, including producing resources and marketing materials across print and digital, including documents, reports and PowerPoint presentations
- As part of the Creative Team at SU Scotland, provide occasional assistance on wider projects, such as Magnitude and content productions
- Provide administration support across the Creative Team as required
- Participate fully in the life and ministry of Scripture Union Scotland.

We are seeking applicants who are conscientious, resourceful and reliable. Applicants should have great communication and administration skills, with high levels of initiative and competence. Candidates should also be passionate about contributing to content and resources that help young people to grow in their faith.
For this post, it is important that you are committed to SU Scotland’s ethos, working principles and vision and can demonstrate this through your commitment and motivation. It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
