Holiday Sponsorship Appeal 2026
Give today. Change a young person’s life through an SU Holiday.
“If SU hadn’t invested in me, I’m not sure where my life would be today. That is why supporting SU Scotland matters. Your generosity changes lives.” Robbie, SU volunteer.
Remember the excitement of going on holiday as a child-packing bags, counting down the days, dreaming of adventures ahead? We have such fond memories but for too many young people today, that excitement never comes. Not because they don’t want to go, but because their family simply can’t afford it.
As we prepare for SU Holidays 2026, demand has never been higher. Over 2,000 young people are already booked in-the highest number since 2013. With that growth comes a growing need. Requests to the Holiday Sponsorship Fund have risen by 17%, as more families ask for help so their child doesn’t miss out.
SU Holidays offer far more than a break away. They are places where young people build friendships, grow in confidence, and explore the Bible together. Many hear about Jesus in a personal and meaningful way, some for the very first time.
Your gift today can change everything. By supporting the Holiday Sponsorship Fund, you will help remove financial barriers so more young people can experience an SU Holiday.
Robbie’s story shows the impact your gift today can make.
Thanks to the Holiday Sponsorship Fund, Robbie attended his first SU Holiday- an experience that shaped his faith, confidence, and future. Today, he volunteers every summer so other young people can have the same opportunity. Click here to read more about Robbie’s story and how the work of SU Scotland has transformed his life.
This year, our goal is to help 850 new young people experience an SU Holiday. With your support, lives can be changed - one young person at a time.
