Growing Lendrick Muir Appeal 2026
Give a special gift today. Build a future. Transform young lives.
“For decades, Lendrick Muir has offered children and teenagers a chance to step away from everyday pressures, discover community, ask big questions, and experience God’s love in a setting that feels safe yet adventurous and full of possibility.” - Elaine, SU Scotland volunteer
Do you remember when you first encountered Jesus - when His love first became real to you? For so many, that moment happens at Lendrick Muir. Many of you will know it well and carry your own stories of lives transformed. It is a place where faith comes alive, deep friendships are formed, true belonging is discovered and often healing begins.
But we need your help. After 25 years of intensive use, a significant part of the building, known as Glendevon, is nearing the end of its life. New legislation means that every young person is now entitled to a school residential, while SU Holidays continue to grow. It is more important than ever that we are ready to welcome more young people.
Young people like Jane*, who attended an SU camp at Lendrick Muir led by Elaine and her husband Chris. “Jane was struggling deeply” shared Elaine. Then one day at camp, Jane shared with Elaine that she was adopted and that she didn't feel like she fitted in. This opened the door for Elaine to encourage her, letting her know that there were seven adopted children on the holiday – including her own three daughters.
Without crucial and timely development, 5,000** young people each year could miss out on the opportunity to experience a Christian residential event where so many discover Jesus and grow in faith.
With your help, we can build a better, more accessible space - one that welcomes more children and young people like Jane, and invites them to encounter God’s love and to belong. Will you give a special gift today so that the next generation of children and young people can experience life-transforming opportunities at Lendrick Muir?
Jane’s story shows the transformational impact your generosity could make.
