In this season when many of us have felt isolated it is good to be reminded that we still have fellowship with God, and even remotely, fellowship with others.

And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:3)

What is Discipleship at Home?

Discipleship at Home from SU Scotland runs online from Monday 22nd June – Friday 26th June where you can virtually meet with others from across Scotland who want to:

  • Keep growing as disciples of Jesus
  • Enjoy fun and fellowship from home
  • Worship, pray and explore the Bible with others
  • Apply what the Bible says to our world today
  • Develop leadership skills that can be used in church, SU Groups and events and Christian Unions
  • Think practically about how to share your faith

What is the programme for Discipleship at Home?

Each day we will have three interactive sessions:

  • Home Truths (1:30-3:00pm) – In this session we will spend time in worship, prayer and exploring the Bible so that we get to know more of God’s truth and are better equipped as disciples for Christian service
  • Home Service (4:00-5:00pm)  In this session we will hear from people in Scotland and elsewhere in the world to learn about the different ways serving God can happen and think about how we can serve God where we are
  • Home Grown (7:00-8:00pm) – In this session there will be a series of options for you to grow your skills in leadership and team work to help you share your faith while you are at home and where you will study, work or be involved in mission in the future

We will also gather together again on Thursday 6th August to share what each of us have been doing over the summer with our mission and service opportunities.
