Centre Director, Lendrick Muir
I've been leading the team at Lendrick Muir since May 2011 when I joined as Centre Director. My role is to provide leadership to the centre, manage the large staff team and oversee all aspects of delivery. It is a challenging role but one that I relish!
My background is in working for PricewaterhouseCoopers where I trained as an accountant and worked in Risk Management. Subsequently I joined Prudential working in IT Audit and Change Management. I was keen to use my strong background in business for more worthwhile purposes and joined the charity Mission Africa in 2007 where I served as Executive for Scotland. As well as representing the organisation in Scotland I also visited sub Saharan Africa on several occasions which was a real eye opener.
I love the outdoors and am currently trying to summit all the Munro’s - it was partly this interest which made the role at an outdoor centre so appealing. My vision for Lendrick Muir is that it is a truly excellent outdoor centre in every way and the children and young people who visit have the time of their lives.
