Hi,

I am very excited to work alongside the extraordinary team of passionate people – both paid staff and incredible volunteers who give up their time to serve, and am excited to build on the amazing legacy of what has happened before at Lendrick Muir.

Can I ask you to help with these three things?

  • Pray for the staff, volunteers and myself that we will see the word planted in hearts of young people which will grow so they will discover an amazing God. You can sign up for my prayer letter on this page.
  • Can you give financially? Lendrick Muir is an outstanding asset used for the Lord’s work, but requires significant support to operate and develop. You can give on this page too.
  • Finally, if you are local and would like to volunteer at the centre, I would love to hear from you - there is plenty to do!

Thank you so much for your interest and support.

Marek's Story

Marek - I know it doesn’t sound very Scottish! I was born in Auschwitz, Poland and came to Scotland in 2006 falling in love with Sally whom I married in 2009. We have two amazing boys, Benjamin and Lucas, live in Dunblane and are members of Stirling Baptist Church.

I believe that I was called to work for SU Scotland in 2014 with the Facilities Team as this is my background skill set. It was a scary decision  to give up my own building business and work for someone else, but it turns out that our God is the best employer!

I love working at Lendrick Muir. Our vision is to see the children and young people of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus, and that’s why I am here. We are investing in the future of God’s church and our amazing God is blessing our work abundantly.

I have two passions in my life: number one is God! I love serving him and SU Scotland is the place where he is using all my strengths. Number two is people – I love people. I love it when they discover our amazing God and then when they work out the role which God has prepared for them. He wants us to reach our potential so we can bear good fruit – it’s so exciting! I love investing in people and seeing them “fly” for his glory.

Lendrick Muir

Lendrick Muir is a fantastic resource for SU Scotland and other ministries - for the children and young people we serve. In a beautiful setting, there are a wide range of exciting activities available and it has proved to be a popular centre for young people to explore and grow their faith.

We welcome thousands of young people each year on SU Holidays and weekends or with their schools for outdoor education residentials, and
others with their churches and youth groups. Situated a few miles from Kinross, this refurbished mansion can accommodate groups ranging from 25 to over 150. The site hosts a large range of sports and activities amid its 120 acres, including high ropes, trail biking, disc golf, archery, bungee trampolining and the lochan.
