Bible Alive is an exciting programme which teaches children in P5-P7 the whole story of the Bible in a series of interactive lessons as part of the RME curriculum. It uses storytelling, music, drama, props, costumes, video clips and activities to bring the Bible to life and it is held together with Rhyme & Sign - a set of ten rhyming couplets which recap the story of the Bible accompanied by British Sign Language signs.

This course is for people who would like to train to use Bible Alive in schools in their area. It will include demonstrations and practice in various storytelling techniques as well as advice on putting together a Bible Alive programme.

This is a non-residential course which will run from 9am to 5.30pm on Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Wednesday 23rd May.  You must attend all three days to complete the course and there will be some preparation to do at home between days 2 and 3 of the course.

The course fee includes a training manual, Rhyme & Sign DVD, and lunch and refreshments on all three days.

Participants will be sent a DVD and asked to learn Rhyme & Sign before coming on the course, so the closing date for bookings is Wednesday 18th April. As there are only eight places on the course, early booking is advised.
