Dear friends, thank you for considering Holidays Sponsorship!

We have all had cause to lament 2020. For young people, it was a year of disruption to education, relationships and the opportunity to explore the Bible and respond to the significance of Jesus. 2021 looks set to be a year of gradual reconnecting, where we want many young people to hear the message of hope that God loves them.

With the economic fall out of the pandemic affecting swathes of families across Scotland, we are anticipating a gift made to this appeal will be more important than ever.

This is what your gift will help achieve:

  • Make SU Holidays accessible to everyone - families who cannot afford a holiday for their children, refugees and those affected by a family member in prison.
  • Motiv8 Holidays which prioritise ministry among the disadvantaged are heavily subsidised. These crucial holidays can only happen through donations to this fund.
  • Enable a strong team of committed volunteers to run our holidays, all of whom make sacrifices of time and energy. Not every team member can contribute towards event costs.
  • Subsidise spaces for up to 70 young leaders on our COmMISSION training events.

2021 will be another challenging year for us all. Alongside online events, day camps are planned for the Easter holidays and summer term and we look forward to returning to residential holidays as soon it is safe.

Please give generously so that young people can have the life-affirming experience of a camp once again in 2021.

Your giving makes a huge difference, thank you.

Fundraise

If you would like to do more to sponsor young people, why not run a fundraiser? Some people direct their birthday or anniversary gifts, others run, walk or read to challenge themselves and collect sponsorship. If you need any support, please contact us at support@suscotland.org.uk
