In one month’s time, on Saturday 24th September, people from across Scotland will gather in Edinburgh for the first Seen and Heard conference. Seen and Heard is a network to encourage and equip those who work in children's ministry.

The conference is for anyone working with children. From those leading a Sunday school to those running an after school club; or working in schools - there will be something for everyone.

The day is being held in St Paul’s and St George’s church and will run from 9:30am until 4:30pm with all refreshments provided. There will be a mixture of main sessions, workshops, time to explore the exhibition space and meet other people doing similar work.

Our key note speaker will be Rachel Turner, Parenting for Faith Pioneer at Bible Reading Fellowship. She will share in our opening session about how children’s ministry is crucial to building God’s kingdom. We will also have two experts discussing what life is like for children today.

There will be eight workshops to choose from and two opportunities to attend a workshop in the day. The workshops will be jam packed with ideas and lots of time to ask questions and get ideas for your own situation. The topics range from talking to children, worship and praying or casting a vision for children’s ministry.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite and group discounts on request. Seen and Heard is shaping up to be a day great day of encouragement and equipping for those involved in this vital work. We hope to see you there.
