"This was my third time at Strictly Come Praying and each year it seems to get better. You can meet friends that you met at previous SU Scotland events, or go alone. The talk by John White was inspirational and has helped me to deepen my understanding of my faith. The ideas on praying were helpful and I will try to use them whenever I can and also at my church youth group. I'm already looking forward to Strictly Deeper." Murray

"I have never been part of a team so enthusiastic, energetic and God-hungry before. The way our young team bonded together carried across to the youth at Strictly Come Praying, making it the best year I have ever been to. At one of the seminars I was helping at we discussed praying expectantly and the unbelievable nature of prayer. Hearing young people answer with things such as "God wants to answer our prayers", "God understands" and "God can do anything" is so encouraging for the future of Christian youth in Scotland. There was an amazing atmosphere in the hotel as our voices joined together to pray for our schools, churches and the world. It was incredible experience hearing our voices unite as one to pray. Also the worship was outstanding – hearing 300+ people all singing Happy Day and dancing for the Lord is what makes SCP stand out as an SU Scotland event - for it is a place where prayer, worship and fellowship is passionate and enjoyed." "Strictly Come Praying this year was brilliant. I've been to a SCP event every year since they started, and this was definitely the best I've been to. I went to the "Praying Expectantly" seminar and, as usual, it was great. The opening and closing worship sessions are always uplifting and encouraging, and I always enjoy the leadership of the youth bands. The prayer stations were once again extremely helpful and thought-provoking, especially the Open Doors-related station. All of these areas combined to make the greatest SCP experience I've ever had – I can't wait for SCP 2014!" Euan

My role in SU Scotland is to encourage, excite, support and resource prayer both for the young people of Scotland, and among the young people of Scotland. What a fantastic task!
