LaunchPad, the 2013 SU Missions training day held in March, was a wonderful day attended by 108 people. Andy Keulemans, Rector of St Peter’s Church in Musselburgh, gave us an inspiring and challenging address based on an overview of Daniel 1–6. Nicola and Ali Bruce led us in worship and the day got off to a great start. Seminar slots followed and delegates worked hard to take in as much as possible from three one hour sessions which offered a wide choice of topics.

Here’s what some of those who attended had to say...

  • I thought the whole day provided a very useful overview of the material with lots of very useful ideas. Thanks a lot.
  • Everything covered thank you! Good day!
  • Date brilliant! Venue excellent, programme relevant, March good timing, venue excellent, programme provided all I required!
  • Terrific!
  • This is my first time at such an event. I found it informative and useful, and it started me thinking about what I might need to do for preparation.
  • Good to chat with others and share ideas, both over coffee and in seminars.
  • Drama very, very useful.
  • Prayer ideas from seminar absolutely excellent!
  • Encouraging and thought provoking – thank you!
  • The best training day ever!
