There are so many exciting stories to share about what is happening in the SU Groups!
Some children and young people are discovering more about who Jesus is for the first time and others are growing deeper in their faith. They are exploring truth by asking many questions and this can be exciting and challenging all at the same time! I often ask for prayers for more leaders. I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to consider getting involved in your local school.
The fear of not knowing what to do or not being able to run such a club holds people back. Listen to Jan’s story. She has only recently started running the group at Kinross Primary. After a couple of weeks she commented, “It’s really not hard, is it?"
I was wondering what God might want me to do for him following our move to the local area. I found out after some time, when asked to help with a Supa Club at a local primary school. After some prayer and encouragement from family and friends, I decided to say yes. I have to confess to being incredibly nervous about going into school for the first time. And really there was no need; once in the classroom I really enjoyed meeting the kids and helping out. It was great fun. I'd like to encourage people thinking about making a similar step to prayerfully 'go for it!’ God has so blessed us and given us such a message of hope for right now and the future. It's a precious thing to share with the next generation.
