At Strictly Come Praying in March, we had a quiet prayer gazebo where young people could sit quietly, read the Bible, pray silently, or ask for prayer. Some young people did ask for prayer, and there was a real sense of God's presence within the tent. Young people also had the opportunity to write down what was on their hearts. Here are a few of their prayers:

"Dear God, please help me to feel better about things and help me to be surrounded by my church family." "Dear God, thank you for forgiving my sins." "Thank you for everything. I hope that through my life my faith in you strengthens." "Dear God, please help me with my faith, even in public places like school." "Dear God, help me to make the right decisions in every aspect of my life." "Please help me with school and not swearing." "Dear God, please help me through exams and help me profess my faith."

Pray today for the Christian children and young people you know, that God would strengthen them and help them to live out their faith at school, where it is often hardest to be a Christian.

My role in SU Scotland is to encourage, excite, support and resource prayer both for the young people of Scotland, and among the young people of Scotland. What a fantastic task!
