The COmMISSION programme for 2013 is now available for booking!

COmMISSION is our short-term mission programme for those aged 16 to 25. It provides a great opportunity for you to get involved in bringing the good news of Jesus to Scotland’s children and young people, through a programme of training, placement and review. The training element includes the Basecamps, for those in S5 or S6 at school, and LeadUP, for the student age-group and older. Placements are arranged at SU Holidays & Missions, and international placements are also available. The programme ends with a Review weekend at the end of the summer, to reflect on and share the experiences of the summer. You are also challenged to continue as a disciple of Jesus in your school, college or workplace and among your friends and family. Jesus calls us to long-term discipleship!

Find out what it was like for one COmMISSION participant, Callum Cruickshank. Callum had previously attended Basecamp in his S5 year in 2011, so this year he attended LeadUP and then served as a team member at an SU Mission and an SU Holiday. He kept a video diary of his experiences – watch the video below to hear more about what it was like for him.
