This week sees the start of our summer SU Missions programme and right now there are seven missions running across Scotland, with a further 25 taking place in the coming weeks and two during the October break. So far the feedback from leaders has been really encouraging; with at least two missions seeing over 60 eager children turning up each day. Missions and Holiday Clubs are excellent opportunities for churches to reach local communities and set the stage for follow-up throughout the year. They also enable relationships to be built with families, as many of the missions invite parents along for an evening or afternoon towards the end of the event. We’re seeing increasing requests from churches who are looking for assistance to start a mission, but we’re not currently able to respond to all of them. That’s why our latest appeal focuses on raising funds to allow us to do so. We’ve already received over £20,000 in donations so far and would like to thank everyone who has sent a gift. Could you make a donation and help us to support more missions around the country?
