If your life is anything like normal it will contain many ups and downs. I've been reflecting on this recently in the life of Jesus. The circumstances of his life took many turns. Mark compresses things in his fast-paced, relatively short gospel, but you cannot read it without being struck by the massive ups and downs in the life of the Lord Jesus.
A couple of Saturdays ago, our International Committee had a day away to think and dream about the future --- how can all of us involved in SU Scotland be even more aware of God’s world? We had a look together at John 17 at New Staff Retreat and you can’t read that chapter without encountering the idea of ‘glory’.
