The course covers the syllabus for the Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate and is accredited by the Royal Environmental Health Institute For Scotland.

Participants take a multiple-choice exam at the end of the day. The course is recommended for all those involved in catering at SU Scotland events. Those who did the course more than 5 years ago should update their Certificate by doing the course again.
