Training
Working with children and young people is an exhilarating experience; often surprising, never predictable, sometimes very difficult, always requiring effort. We all face similar challenges whether in school, church, or during holidays.
SU Scotland aims to give you the opportunity to:
- learn new skills
- share fresh ideas
- be encouraged and inspired
- think through the big issues in children's ministry
- pick up the latest resources
We want children and young people to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ and develop a dynamic relationship with him - investing in training means that we can all do this more effectively. The majority of trainers are SU staff or volunteers who have direct and current experience in work with children and young people.

Urban Training - MOTIV8
There is training available for those who work amongst children from areas of Urban Priority. Working in this field can be very difficult and requires particular skills.
Training is through the MOTIV8 Co-ordinator Libby Lobban, and there is an annual Training Weekend held. <more info>
