SU Scotland - Volunteers and Training - Your Options - Schools Work

In The Classroom...

Scripture Union Scotland aims to help young people find dynamic faith in Jesus Christ, and a core element of its strategy is to see the setting up of SU groups in every school in Scotland, Primary and Secondary, with the full support of the school authorities.

Associated with that are excellent evening, weekend, holiday and residential events for young people of school age.

SU Scotland Needs You...

We need hundreds of volunteers every year to come forward and offer themselves in service and take up the role of Team Member or Team Leader. Parents, Teachers, other school staff, senior pupils, youth workers, ministers, church members etc can all be involved.

We can offer training, support from SU staff, advice, and a few resources as well.

Would you like to get involved?

You may want to start a new group in your local Primary School.

Maybe you would like to get involved with the new SU x:perience in a Secondary School and run one of 4 different types of group.

Or you may wish to volunteer to be a Team Member at one of our local weekend, evening or Saturday events.

If you want to get involved, email volunteers@suscotland.org.uk, and you'll hear back from one of our Regional Workers with details on how you can get involved in your local community.
