Is your church a welcoming place for vulnerable children and their families?

Across Scotland thousands of children and young people feel that they don't belong; in society, in their schools and even in their families. Our Beauty for Ashes 2010 event entitled 'A Place For Us?' aims to equip and inspire Scottish Churches to be safe, loving communities for hurting children and their families.

Speaker

Dr Keith White is Director of Mill Grove, which since 1899 has not only been the White family home, but also home to over 1,200 children who have not been able to live in their own families. Keith will share from his experience and his book, The Growth of Love, the five elements we need in order to welcome vulnerable children and young people: security, boundaries, significance, community and creativity.
