An opportunity to explore fresh ways of reaching out to children and young people, and be encouraged to think beyond your week of Mission.

The Missions Training Day will help people who are joining their first Mission team, and also those who have been part of teams many times already.  We are particularly keen for you to come as a team from your Mission and return with new ideas, best practice from around the country and having had opportunity to network and share experience with others.

Main Speaker

We are delighted to have Vicki Shaver as our main speaker for 2011's event.  Vicki is the BA Theology leader and lecturer in Children's Ministry at the International Christian College, Glasgow.  Before this she worked for 16 years with SU Scotland as Training and Resources Director, where she trained countless children's workers and developed Urban Priority ministries.
