SU Scotland - Volunteers and Training - Training

Being prepared...

Working with children and young people is an exhilarating experience; often surprising, never predictable, sometimes demanding, always requiring effort. We all face similar challenges whether in school, church, or during holidays.

SU Scotland aims to give you the opportunity to:

  • learn new skills
  • share fresh ideas
  • be encouraged and inspired
  • think through the big issues in children's ministry
  • pick up the latest resources

We want children and young people to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ and develop a dynamic relationship with him - investing in training means that we can all do this more effectively. The majority of trainers are SU staff or volunteers who have direct and current experience in work with children and young people.
