You want to know some benefits of an SU Gap Year?
Here are the Top Ten (actually eleven because we couldn’t get people to stop...)
- Grow deeper in your relationship with God
- Have the opportunity to study the Bible
- Learn and refine team-working skills as you do ministry work
- Strengthen your faith muscles as you learn to persevere and depend on God
- Learn how to live as a Christian in community (with our activity centre option) and work out Christian principles at work.
- Gain lots of new skills and some formal qualifications (such as First Aid, Archery, Food Hygiene)
- Opportunities to share your faith (in words and actions) in a variety of contexts to hundreds of children and young people from all over Scotland
- The opportunity to harness a whole team of people willing to support you financially, prayerfully and personally throughout the year
- Initial and ongoing training to prepare and equip you – practically, personally, and spiritually
