The Parables

Parables can run the risk of being simplified as children’s stories or overlooked as being “too symbolic” for young people to grasp.

In fact these are compelling tales which give many teenagers safe space to consider their own lives. This series seeks to help your group explore why Jesus used stories to structure his teaching and help them access levels of understanding that may have been glossed over when they were younger.

These sessions are geared towards working with groups with limited Bible knowledge, with enough active ways of approaching parables that they are adaptable for groups with younger members.
