Even simple images can trick our eyes  - what is real and what is not?

2000 years ago James wrote to Christians to encourage them to view life from God’s perspective. It meant having to trust God, hold their nerve and often swim against the tide. Today, we face the same sort of issues and challenges.  The book of James tells us to look at things God's way because what we see around us is often not the way that things really are.

Are we prepared to look at life from God’s point of view?

Everyone has a worldview.  This determines how they react to the circumstances they find themselves in.  James introduces the idea of wisdom as a worldview, and being wise as a way of life.
