West and Central Scotland

Introduction

Hi, my name is Adrienne Cartwright and I am the Regional Worker for the Independent Schools in West and Central Scotland. My role is very varied and often involves me speaking at school assemblies, visiting existing Scripture Union groups whilst looking for opportunities to set up new groups in schools, working with our volunteers as well as leading residential events.

Although I work part-time I do try to make the most of the three days that I work each week so if there is anything you would like to contact me about then please don't hesitate to get in touch with me on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Situations Vacant For…

People Who Pray

Each month a small group of supporters get together in Glasgow to pray for the work of Scripture Union in the Independent Schools in West and Central Scotland. These evenings are always full of encouragement as we give thanks to God for the way in which He is answering these prayers. It is always lovely to have new people joining with us so if you would like to know when and where we met then please do get in touch with me as we would love to have you join us.

Just last week we held an Independent Schools prayer meeting in Perth for the first time and we focused our prayers on the Independent Schools in Central Scotland. It was great to meet with SU group leaders and to pray for the schools they represented. We hope to hold another prayer meeting in Perth towards the end of the year so if you live in the Perth-shire area then it would be great to have you with us next time we meet. More details will be available nearer the time.

People Who Plan

We are so grateful to God for all the teachers, students and volunteers who currently lead SU groups in their local Independent School but we are always looking for God to provide more people, who are willing and able to plan, prepare and lead school groups. If this is something you might consider then I would love to hear from you.
