Forth Valley

This Region covers the Local Authorities of Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire with about 140 schools across this region making it "half a patch" for me as the Forth Valley Regional Worker alongside my North Team Leader responsibilities within SU Scotland.

School Groups

The number of SU Groups in the area increases slowly and I also hear about schools work being done by other people and organisations as I travel around the region and talk to church leaders and others.  Thanks for the time and information that has been so helpful.  Please email us if you'd like to hear more about SU's work in the area - particularly if you'd like to get involved one way or another - or if you can fill me in on other schools work across the region.

At our recent SU Group Leaders' evening, we had resources available to borrow, buy or be given and a range of new and established leaders to share ideas, concerns and excitement with; in short, it was an opportunity to feel better prepared for the session ahead.  We cannot recreate the event for you but some of the resources are still available.  Contact us for more details.

Residential Events

We have two "Forth Valley Weekends" at Lendrick Muir each year open to pupils in P5 to S6.  The dates for these are:

3rd to 5th February 2012

18th to 20th May 2012

Prayer for SU's work in the Forth Valley - and beyond

The monthly prayer meeting for the Region takes place in the Bridge of Allan area on the first Friday of each month.  Contact me for details of each month's venue or to receive news by email for your own prayers.
