Hello!

Scripture Union relies on volunteers who care about young people, are committed to Christ, and who are keen to get involved in school groups, in helping at weekends, in helping to run evening events, and in taking a week out to be part of our Easter and Summer Holiday teams, and in praying. Volunteers need to be registered with us and if you are keen to get involved in SU work in East and West Dunbartonshire, then please get in touch.

Prayer

Schools in our area need SU Group Leaders and Prayer every week!

Would you like to see an SU group being well led and popular in your local Primary or Secondary School in Stirling, Falkirk, Clackmannanshire, E or W Dunbartonshire, or in the Helensburgh area? We've got the resources and the ideas, but we need volunteers, and we need churches to support and pray with us. Some schools, like Lenzie Academy, have thriving groups which are well led and are a real asset to the school, and others could have a group if more volunteers came forward. Primary and Secondary schools throughout our area would benefit enormously - if you are interested, please contact me.

By The Book

“I believe we should re-commit ourselves to relational ministry with open Bibles, and I want to invite all who are involved with young people to live by the Book and to open it with young people throughout our land in this Year of Homecoming.

“I want to offer this simple tool toencourage volunteers and “professionals” alike to spend good quality time mentoring regularly with groups of children and young people, by simply opening the Bible, reading it together and asking one another some good questions. I believe that Bible reading, and obeying, are the key ingredients to God bringing revival.

Go for it!”
