Hello,

I'm Carina Lamb, the Regional Worker for Dumfries and Galloway. My job is very varied and involves leading assemblies, visiting SU Groups, helping facilitate new groups and working alongside volunteers in the region.

There are many ways in which you can get involved with the work of SU Scotland for example: cooking at a camp; leading or helping at a school SU Group; praying for and getting involved in your local school; helping with travel arrangements for camps e.g. driving a minibus.

SU Holidays

SU Holidays are a vital part of SU Scotland's ministry to children and young people, and these holidays form another aspect of my role. There are still spaces available for Easter holidays - for both campers and team members.

Resources

The SU Scotland office in Dumfries has a number of resources available for lending. The office is not manned all the time so please get in touch with me.

Schools

Please do keep praying for the schools in your area. Our aim is to see every school in Scotland being prayed for. There are still many schools in Dumfries and Galloway that do not have someone registered to pray for them, a list of these schools can be found at Pray for Schools Scotland. If you currently pray for a school and haven't registered this then you can do this online.

SU Groups in Schools

Across the region SU Groups exist in some of the primary and secondary schools. There are some schools in the region that would like to have an SU Group but there are not the leaders to run it - could you help with this? There are other groups that would welcome extra support - could you help with this?
