Day of Prayer

  4. Day of Prayer

Will you join us in praying during our Day of Prayer?

Our Day of Prayer is on Wednesday 28 January 2026 and we’d love your support!

Why a day of prayer? Setting aside a specific day helps us all, as the SU family, to focus on God, celebrate and praise him for who he is and what he has done, and bring him our petitions and intercessions for SU ministry in the year ahead.

Our Bible focus this year is 2 Chronicles 7:14. We offer resources to guide you in what to pray for as you pray personally. We also provide opportunities to pray with others.

Wherever you are, whoever you are, however little or much you know about SU Scotland – we’d love you to join in. Thank you!

  • Listen to the Bible Passage.
  • Read the Prayer Guide or watch the Video Prayer Guide.
  • Watch our video to hear of young people flourishing in faith as a result of SU ministry.
  • Pray as the Spirit leads.

Does worship music help you pray? We have put together a playlist on Spotify.

Too active to sit and pray? Why not go for a prayer walk and pray for local schools? Remember to register the schools you pray for if you haven’t already done so!

Hosted by SU staff members, we are providing prayer gatherings across the country. Find out where and when below:
