We've made it even easier to donate to SU Scotland with Just Giving's text donation services.

How does it work?

• Find a code
  Choose the SU Scotland cause that you would like to donate to (General fund, specific ministry or appeal) and find the relevant code (four letters followed by two numbers)
• Send a text to 70070
  In the body of the text you need the code followed by the amount donated (including a pound sign), for example SERV11 £10

Donations can only be in the amount of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5, and £10

· You'll receive a reply text with a link to a Gift Aid form
After making your donation, you'll be prompted by a text message to submit your details so that Gift Aid can be reclaimed. You'll be directed to a form that you'll fill in on your phone's web browser.  Alternatively you can visit that link using a web browser on your computer and fill out the Gift Aid form there. • If you're a UK tax payer, your charity benefits from a 25% boost to your donation
• At this point you will also be asked whether you would like to opt-in to communications from that charity. If you opt-in, charities will have the option to thank you personally. If you don't, please note that Scripture Union Scotland will not be able to identify you, and will therefore not be able to thank you personally.

The Facts

• 100% of every donation goes to your charity
• There are no additional costs for the text message
• It's quick and easy to donate, helping your charity raise more money
• You can give a maximum of £30 per month (e.g. three text donations of £10 each).

For Vodafone users, the donation amount will appear alongside the item description JustTextGiving by Vodafone. Other operators may decide to call it a "premium text".  For further details on this please contact your mobile operator directly.

Payment is completely secure. Since the donation is taken from your mobile credit or added to your monthly bill, there is no need to provide credit/debit card details.
