Allocations

Whenever you make a donation, you can allocate your gift to a particular area of work. A number of these are listed below.

General Fund

Gifts allocated here are used for different purposes, and are used wherever the need is greatest. The flexibility that these gifts provide for the management and running of the organisation is invaluable. Any gifts not otherwise specified, will be allocated to General Fund.

Team Support

SU Scotland encourages staff members to raise financial support towards the costs of their particular ministry. Gifts for this purpose are known as Team Support.  Donations in this category can be allocated, for example, to the support of the Regional Ministry in schools in a particular area, to support the costs of running one of our Centres, or to help meet the costs of Support Services Department.

Holiday Sponsorship

Donations to the Holiday Sponsorship fund are used to subsidise or, in some cases completely sponsor, children and young people who would otherwise be unable to attend SU Scotland Holidays. They are also used to subsidise the attendance of Team Members without whom such events could not take place.
